Good location. Very friendly and helpful staff.

From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly welcomed and cared for. The hotel itself is beautiful, elegant, and perfectly located—but what truly made my stay unforgettable was the staff. Every single person I encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. Whether it was the front desk, the breakfast team, or housekeeping, everyone went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Their kindness felt authentic, and they were always ready with a smile, a helpful recommendation, or simply a friendly conversation that made the day brighter. I would return to Hotel Carmo in a heartbeat—not just for the lovely rooms or the excellent location, but because the people there make it feel like more than just a hotel. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

This is my second time at Lisboa Carmo, and again I loved it! The location is right at the center of Lisbon, and the room views are incredible. The rooms are very clean and have a lot of natural light. The staff at the hotel are so friendly and kind, I was always happy to return to the hotel to say hello. They always helped me find where I needed to go and gave great recommendations. Bernardo is so helpful and friendly, I mentioned I was practicing my Portuguese so he very patiently spent a few moments of his time to help me practice throughout my stay. He is so warm and helpful, his recommendations made my trip so much better! Big thank you to Bernardo! I could not recommend this hotel more!

The property is in Chiado which is a beautiful part of Lisbon. The family suite was a great option for us- two bedrooms with a small outdoor patio. The staff were immensely helpful! The rooms were clean and the master bedroom spacious. The restaurant was very good and the staff were excellent. On Wednesday nights they provide a lovely Fado performance.

I had a wonderful stay at Lisboa Carmo Hotel. The location was absolutely excellent — right in the heart of Lisbon and within easy walking distance to historical landmarks like the Carmo Convent, Rossio Square, and the Santa Justa Lift. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The front office staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my stay. They were always ready to assist with directions and local recommendations, which added a personal touch to the experience. Daily breakfast was consistently good, with a nice selection of fresh items to start the day. I also appreciated the housekeeping team, who kept the room clean and refreshed each day without fail. Overall, a great base for anyone wanting to immerse themselves in the charm and history of Lisbon. Highly recommended.
